Setting Up the Notebook: Simply create your copy of the notebook and make sure it has access to a GPU and the internet. Then hit Run and watch the installer do its work. While the installation may take around 10 minutes, why not use this time to generate the perfect image for your upcoming 3D model?
AI Artwork Ready? Let's Roll: Assuming you already have your preferred AI images, and if you need some guidance, check out our previous tutorials, you're ready for the next step. Once the installation is complete, it's time to run the web UI. Click the "run" button, wait a little for the models to download, and follow the link in the output to launch the web UI.
All sides of the object: Select a sample image or upload your own—I'm personally curious to see our cup logo in 3D. Click "generate" and witness the magic unfold. You'll get six images showcasing your object from different angles. Now quickly use those results to generate the 3D model, as they'll be overwritten with each generation.
Creating the 3D model: Stop the app and move on to generating the mesh. We'll opt for "Instant NSR" for a detailed result. Once complete, find the results in the Outputs folder. There, you'll discover several files, including a short video of your model in action. The mesh is stored as a .obj file, and we recommend using MeshLab for viewing.
